Hi guys

I'm a newly-qualified professional looking to get some internet in my new home. I was busy checking out my options with regard to uncapped ADSL and I still need to get a line installed, find a provider etc. Tonight a friend of mine showed me a device that he obtained from Telkom, called a "Clearcom" system. Apparently this is internet that requires no lines to be installed and there is also an uncapped option on this.

Does anyone have experience with this device? Is it a good option or do you still recommend ADSL the "old-fashioned" way?

Kind regards,

Jasper

Fixed Line Look Alike

This is effectively a WCDMA service that is being pushed over to 8ta mobile services. Unless you are in an area without ADSL or in a high theft area, they will not offer you this service.

And since 8ta is not such a big network I wouldn't go with this unless I had to. Ie problems with the ADSL as previously mentioned.

Ive just got the clearcom FLLA and it is FANTASTIC. I took the 10 Gig option. My only issue is that it needs to plug the phone into a USB port in order to use the internet. Does anyone know if there is a router option to create a wifi hotspot using the phone? Id love to be able to use my ipad

Just get a wireless router, connect your pc to it via ethernet and share the PC connection with the network
