Advice - Compatibility with MS Office

How well does the iPhone 4 (or even 3) work with MS Office? Does it serve as a good mobile platform to send and receive email, edit a word document even if need be. I'm out of the office more than I am in, so I need to be able to see whats going on in my inbox, if I can edit documents in Word too that would be a plus.

How well will it synch with my laptop (Win7)?

I checked a couple reviews, just skimmed over them, so I think i've developed a preference for the iPhone over the BB, but if anybody knows any reasons for or against the BB, please include that too.

In my opinion the iPhone 4 is the perfect mobile office. Email works great. It can view office files natively, but not edit them. There are apps out there that can edit office files though, albeit simply. (Office2go etc). Apple also just released iWork for iPhone which is their office suite - Pages, Numbers and Keynote. That works well too.

Syncing works great via iTunes you can sync your IE bookmarks, your outlook contacts & email (or other email), and more!
