Hey guys,

I currently have the telkom do advanced bundle running at home. I am looking at going onto the uncapped 2mb afrihost option for R297 a month. Do you guys think this will be a wise move. I am looking at downloading some torrents as well as play some online games from time to time. Also, will it be better to move my adsl line to afrihost as the line is also cheaper from them than telkom.

Thanks

Hi they

I think I answered your question in one of the other threads.

We can definitely manage your line, which also makes an Uncapped 2Mbps Bundle price of R497 possible (Saving of R79 per month).

Drop me a PM if you're keen to give it a try :)

I am also interested in this product. How bad is the fair use policy and how great an impact has the new upgrades made on the service?

We think our AUP is extremely attractive. We don't take punitive measures like throttling or limiting access for high users. While we may shape when there is a heavy demand on available capacity, we always give the maximum amount of bandwidth back to clients. We only shape torrents and file sharing, so real times services like browsing and gaming are never affected.
