I can also confirm that Youtube is working well. Videos play almost immediately, no buffering or dropped frames on 480p and the buffer runs ahead of the current position just fine. 720p30 is also good, though 720p60 only barely keeps up. As soon as I click a video, the line gets saturated to 1.8Mb/s within about 5 seconds. So far, the streaming updates look good, I'll evaluate Netflix later.

This is good, don't screw it up now.

That's great news.

I can see that no major changes we rolled out so I'm guessing we're monitoring now to see if all services perform as expected.

Suffice to say, if anything, it's getting even worse here(2Mbps)...

Definitely doesn't look good from that screenshot. But what are you general speeds and latency like?

Can you run the usual diagnostics so we can see what overall perfromance is like?

Anyone here play Dota 2? the last couple of days my lag is really bad and i have packet loss as well. My ping is usually 50ms, but it's been 150-250ms the past couple of days. I'll check later today and see if its doing the same or not and report back.

P.S. all other games that i play is international and that is working fine.

We'll need to see if there is general packet loss on your connection, because I didn't see this in my tests last night (for the North). If not, then it could be to the Dota server you are playing on, and we'll need to see if there is anything that can be done from this side :(

sorted this morning but ill keep an eye on it during the day, just played a game and it was fine. ill report back if it changes

Our Team has been focused more on getting each account the proper throughput the account should be getting, and consistently. Now that the network management devices appears to be behaving and is stable, you should start to see your international speeds start improving as well.

thanks any ETA on this ?

Probably no more than the next day or so at most.

The biggest change has been that our network management device is now actually applying the correct shaping to our Uncapped users, which goes far to improve our bandwidth and the speeds for our unshaped users.

Hi Byron

Hope you are well.

I have some good news, our network is back to running optimal.

Please run some tests and advise.

Thanks

Kind Regards,

Critical Care

Is this an optimal network?

Have you been able to test your streaming, downloads or gaming yet?

Download Speed: 3473 kbps (434.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 412 kbps (51.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

No complaints from me

Thank you Gian.

Jeez. What have you done to my internet today?

Streaming at 640p on a site where I never even try above 360p because then it becomes a slideshow, and my browsing remains snappy at the same time.

At this rate, I may need to cancel my cancellation of my account, if it continues like this...
