On a side note, Afri your live chat is broken, not only does nobody answer but the formatting is borked

Caller 24 in the queue estimated hold of 46 min you have to be joking. If I wanted telkom hold times I'd be with telkom.

Yep tried that. It's not really a livechat. More like an email support. Useless. Will probably only get response in Monday.

Good question. Like I mentioned before I've been through Telkom, Mweb, Openweb. So, no going back to them. Crystalweb, Axxess (although also MTN), Webafrica?

Yeah, been through Telkom and Mweb, so I'm thinking crystal and webafrica although the latter seems to have been getting some bad reports according to their thread.

I've been an Afrihost customer for years and I wasn't aware of this. Once in a blue moon I have use for my free Web Africa capped account for a few hours, but that's it.

Then change ISP. If the problems persist you'll know that Afrihost wasn't to blame. My connection has had 99+% uptime throughout the years with AH.

I'll admit that emailing their support is a waste of time, but I've always had great success with just phoning them.

Gave them a call, waited about 30 minutes, but my line seems OK for now. Just interesting, the first thing they did was to blame Telkom, asking me how far away from exchange I am, etc. But backed down immediately when I told them the line works fine (trace routes, pings, etc) with their 1GB free account and Telkom test account
