I'm really not sure, any further updates around the POC stuff or the current network will be communicated when available.

So I guess till then we either cancel our accounts or accept the poor performances till it gets fixed.

Hi Afriguy,

Please have a look at this issue here:
Webafrica speedtest (flying)
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4484284462
afrihost speed test (snail pace)
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4484224483

I am on a uncapped 20 mbps business account. This cannot be right? Why pay for a business account if there is no redundancy. This support issue has been ungoing for a few weeks now.

Those tests seem severely bad though :(
While the performance may (and is currently) taking a dip it shouldn't be rendering your line useless.

Have you run any tests with our team?

We're doing our best to offer the best possible experience to everyone. I know that's not what you want to hear, but that's all I can say for now.
I'm confident that things will improve.

I accept that you'll are but still doesn't make things any less frustrating for us.

This is nonsense, all we get is, can't tell you when....
Absurd, won't be with AH for long, time to start scouting....

I really wish I could give you guys timeframes, I'm afraid they're simply not available yet.
We'll communicate any updates/ changes as soon as they're available.

Performance is really bad again today. I had to rather embarrassingly excuse myself from a very important Skype conference call to switch over to Telkom. Was sitting at 300ms latency on Skype technical info. After switching to Telkom all was fine.

Really sorry about that, we are seeing additional latency from our end :(
We're working on normalising things as best we can.

speeds are going down he crapper again
every time the latency goes lower the speed drops
whats up?

Thinks it's a network issue and not an isolated one.....
I get no throughput for like 2 mins, it's been happening quite a bit in the last few days....
