Don't know what's going on but the internet is almost completely unusable. Pages take ages to load and Speedtest can't even complete a test. International downloads show as 0.09 Mbs (at least the part of the test that works).

Diablo is unplayable.

Could you run a tracert for us please :)

Morning all,

Before I answer any messages, just wanna let you know that I'll be away for a couple of weeks on a conference (hopefully to help us provide even better service to all of you). AfriGuy and AfriGirl are going to be around and they are ALWAYS available on PM if you need something urgently.

I'll be setting my mailbox not to accept PM's so that no-one PM's me and doesn't get a reply for two weeks. Please pass the word around if you see anyone battling to reach me.

We are always here to assist. I may have limited access to email, so you can mail [email protected] - but your best bet for assistance is AfriGuy and AfriGirl, who'll be holding the fort while I'm gone.

Stay Awesome :)

Why not just give one of your colleagues your credentials?

Just all of a sudden? It wasnt like this yesterday.

Can you do a port reset and all that stuff please?

It can happen overnight. Telkom are also doing new trials for VDSL in a few places, and some upgrades are still in progress for line speeds, even though the process was officially complete.

Eish ... something is wonky here too.

Sloooooow all of a sudden.

Some latency weirdness all over the place. Final latency is pretty high for your mozilla trace :(

Can you send us some results from our Network Test App?

Been slow all evening for me. Local downloads are flying but anything international is extremely slow, but it seems to be happening in multiple ISP accounts(that I have tested)

Sounds like there may be a line issue which is being amplified when you go international. A few extra ms of latency will amount to a lot of latency when you travel the extra distance to the UK or the US.

Hhhmm, there's some inconsistencies in latency on the exchange :(
Drop me a PM with that ticket ref# and we can follow up on this for you.

I've had such ****ing good service today that I feel like I'm living in another, more sophisticated country. Thanks Afriman, I'm going to be recommending Afrihost from now on.
