Ok look it's impossible to discuss technical aspects without sitting in the same room together understanding each others thinking. I don't expect you to anyway :)

All I know is this all worked fine before you IPC capacity issues. With your capacity issues, it only works when a turbocharge was activated. I'm talking 720p on a 4meg line.

Now I'm on a biz uncapped I should expect my line to be always 'turbocharged' because I'm paying a premium for unshaped. I should get 720p on a 4 meg, but I'm not getting it.

I do get 720p when I ran with an IS based account this week.

Draw your own conclusions from that.

Please PM me your account info.
Business accounts don't have a Turbocharge option, can I assume you have a regular Uncapped account?

Thanks, I replied,
I moved from uncapped to biz uncapped. I've tried all the accounts you guys offer. :)

Ugh, really frustrating, can barely download at 300k/sec, and can't stream music at the same time as it continually buffers. Hope you guys get to the bottom of this soon - really surprised no issues are apparent with this kind of degradation.

Trace complete.

Very slow speeds. 58% packet loss within the MTN Network between hop 7 & 8. Reported yesterday. No acknowledgement that there is an issue. No resolution of the issue. Just a horribly degraded service that I am paying a lot of money for. Fix your network, Afrihost!

And on the Afrihost home page:

DSL Status
All quiet on the Battle Front - that is to say that everything is working as it should be, NO problems!

Seriously! Change it until you actually fix the problems.
