Lol. What are you moaning about? You almost get full line speeds.

I get under 200kb/sec yet when I use webafrica I get full line speeds

Please check your pm and look at my account. There is something seriously broken.
 
Feel free to PM me with any problems you're having. May need to investigate your lines.
 
People, the whole speedtest thing is a hoax. I always get top values, yet, If i try to download real word files I get below par values.
Drivers from Nvidia site, under 200kb/sec. Miscrosoft, under 200kb/sec. Test files, under 150kb/sec.

143 KB/s - 5.3 MB of 1.0 GB, 2 hours left

I get better speeds on a home account and full speeds on a webafrica account.

Come on @AfriGuy @Afrigirl. I pm'd you. Look into my account ffs.
 
Well i just changed from Openweb to the Afrihost 4 meg business bundle and am happy so far. Get about 230 k/s during office hours and 300 to 430 k/s after hours which for the price i am inclined to think is good.......or am i wrong.
 
Take note these are single thread tests and not multi:

Afrihost very unstable and slow!!!







WebAfrica stable and consistent.

No general issues on our end, so strange that you're seeing these fluctuating speeds.

Afriguy i am situated in Klerksdorp and would like to say that i dont really understand how this all works.What i am gonna do now is take a webafrica test account and test Webafrica Openweb and Afrihost which i will post here in a few minutes .......brb

A bit sceptical about the WA test cause its a test account created by the support at WA. for all i know she gave me a completly unshaped account

And this is a 4 meg line which runs full speed after hours.

I made a cup of coffee in the time it took to complete this speed test.
I'm on a 1mbps business uncapped account.
