Okay... Then there is something else at play here... Hmm... Sounds like some form of throughput issues at the exchange. Do you have any other ISP accounts to test?

Not at the mo. I used to work fine with Mweb but that was on a 4Mb account.

Exchange is fine, Durban been suffering slowness and general crappiness recently. AH says nothing is wrong, as usual. They really run their networks blind.

I must be the lowest on the list of 6Mb Business Uncapped data used. 176Gb so far for December, and that is not from a lack of trying, it is purely down to a crap connection.

Hey I badly want to contribute, but my meager 1MB wireless connection pales in comparison to some people's on here.
However, I still manage a 'respectable' 60 to 80GB a month download. And only during the evenings. Suits me ok.

Test my line has never worked for me. It ways says test failed.

Granted, I'm probably syncing too high at 7.5 Mbps with an 7db downstream SNR value, but I'd expect more than 250KBps on speed tests and download though.

The "fix my line" tool set my sync rate to its maximum possible rate, and the stabilize tool just keeps failing.

I submitted a ticket for a manual sync change early this morning. No change yet. So much for 24/7 support eh.

Granted, I'm probably syncing too high at 7.5 Mbps with an 7db downstream SNR value, but I'd expect more than 250KBps on speed tests and download though.

The "fix my line" tool set my sync rate to its maximum possible rate, and the stabilize tool just keeps failing.

I submitted a ticket for a manual sync change early this morning. No change yet. So much for 24/7 support eh.

This is now getting heavily annoying, why on a 9/10mbps link is international streaming so slow ( Netflix, amazon etc ) that it dies? Everything else is fine.

We aren't seeing anything that should be causing this. What DNS/ proxy provider are you using?

I've had countless complaints about streaming, from Apple TV to Hulu and Netflix. I just get told they don't support it as the services aren't available in South Africa.

We can't officially support it due to multiple options for third party work arounds, DNS, proxies etc etc. Using an alternative DNS server/ service may not yield the best results due to entirely different routing. We've specifically designed and routed our DNS servers to provide the best overall experience.

Could you paste the results of a traceroute please? You shouldn't be seeing slow speeds/ high latency on the account.

I just signed up for your uncapped business dsl service, having previously been an mweb premium customer. You claim that the business dsl service is unshaped and unthrottled, but this does not appear to be the case. I have been attempting to download via emule and have had absolutely pitiful download speeds. As soon as I switched over to my mweb premium account, I started getting good download speeds again in emule. Are you shaping protcols like emule or other p2p protocols?
