This is a phucken circus! Honestly. I am not a fan of Apple, but really, putting the blame on their updates is ridiculous. And you do this publicly with your notice, shame yourselves Afrihost. What type of an ISP goes down in a country when someone releases a smartphone update?? How many iPhones got the update in the country, 650 million phones at once?? Stop talking kark and blaming someone else. If this is the way forward for Afrihost, I am not sure how they will survive when the next round of windows service packs or playstation/xbox updates get released. Utter bullschyte. Blaming someone else when your own network can not provide a service that clients are paying for. You can just as well run a restaurant and have people pay beforehand, and then say sorry, all the livestock got bough at the farms, you have nothing to serve. It's not your fault.
I don't think we're wanting to push the blame or point fingers anywhere, but iOS 8 definitely has an influence over both our and global traffic patterns.
