I'm not surprised seeing as he is not on the same network as the rest of us![]()
Definitely NOT!!
I'm still only getting 2.32 Mbp on my line - Seriously slow.
According to your social media account this is what they said: "Our team is still working on addressing the problem. We don't have an ETA on when speeds will return to normal again"
WTF .... It's been like this for months now???
All I get is empty promises that it is going to be fixed?? WHEN?

+1
Getting barely 4mb on my 8mb line.
What is the problem? It clearly can't be IPC or did you try and order too little?
I need to send a File quite Urgently.
Could anyone in cape town lend me a pigeon?
Over the weekend our Network Management software was updated to a newer iteration, it was supposed to offer greater stability and bandwidth optimisation, it did not work as well as we had hoped. We are now in the process of correcting this, and getting our network back to normal.
Now I'm really the moer in with Afrihost.
Yesterday, I was watching the Twitter feed and claimed a #DataSteal code.
2 minutes later, another guy Retweeted he also got the same code.
Didn't think anything of it.
Today, or at least, the latest #DataSteal code, I got it, claimed it, but the page 'hung' on the "Please wait while we process your order" screen.
So I DM'd them and told them what's happening.
They told me I've lost the code.
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I claimed this code not even 5 sec after it was posted.
This ontop of being told yesterday that NOTHING IS WRONG WITH AFRIHOST, so I drive all the f'ing way home to find out it is AFRIHOST's problem!
Really, now they pushing my buttons!!!!
EDIT: It shows in my control panel that it's 0 / 10GB! Which means I got it!
Why are these changes not communicated to your stakeholders/clients??? Our company's internet is hosted by a large ISP and we get notifications every time maintenance/upgrades/changes are made that could affect our connectivity/performance. The AH reps keep saying this forum is for feedback, but the lack of transparency is resulting in everyone complaining about you in this forum or other social media. Only today we hear that there were changes made over the weekend and when users complained on Monday, they were told there no issues on the network!

Our system allows a certain window period for the code redemption, this means that a code can be redeemed by more than user provided that they claimed it within that window. This means that on occasion more than one user will be able to claim the data, if you are not within that window period, you will receive the error that you are describing. I have seen users claim the code within 2 to 3 seconds of the code being posted, I know it can be frustrating not winning the data, but this is why we have multiple giveaways each day.
What problem are you experiencing at the moment? I definitely want to assist you with resolving it.
