We're still looking into this, but it seems like it may not have been a server failure - probably somewhere between us and Telkom in the authentication sequence

A quick question regarding the Afrihost Capped Unshaped DSL packages - Does AH shape or throttle Teamviewer during business hours?
TeamViewer is the standard support tool I use and I need it operating at full speed during business hours.

Our Capped accounts are completely unshaped, shaping doesn't exist on these packages.

I have no clue as to why it would have made any difference, but I changed my 150GB Capped account (that was running 6Mb) to a 6Mb Business DSL account earlier today and I can watch YouTube vids at 720p with no issues.
And that is while downloading at the same time. All in all, everything is better with the new account.

Seems I have found a new home, have moved from 4Mbps Uncapped to 4Mbps capped today ... Afriman will be relieved because I was a focal unsatisfied uncapped customer with shaping at a ridicules rate. My first speed test today was nearly 4 times faster than yesterday, basically I am a happy camper .. for now

I recently moved my aunt from a 4mb uncapped with MWEB and it was fine, to a capped 100gb with Afrihost. She has been upgraded to a 10mb line yet im getting this.

Not at all, our Capped and Business Uncapped accounts are completely unshaped
Any of our clients on these packages can confirm this.You are too far from the exchange.
