Our team looks to have replied to your ticket. Unfortunately, there is higher contention in the South at the moment which could be affecting you speeds. Your line is syncing at 8030 kbps. Not sure if that is the ideal speed.
We are planning on adding capacity in the coming weeks. I know it is rather frustrating at the moment and I am so sorry but we hope to make the addition soon.
My line is actually syncing above that. But I have limited the line speed to 8 with Telkom as that is the sweet spot for me between speed and SNR.
I received a reply today and did what the agent said. Phone Telkom to refresh my port and to reboot my router. Done and dusted, yet, the line is still not performing as it should. Ping and latency seems rock solid. Download speeds are in the 200kb/sec mark. My IS account does full speed, 830kb/sec. Clearly something is cooking dry here?
