Gees, that's fantastic overseas latency. Put a HUGE smile on my face

I noticed over the weekend that it takes an awful long time to re-establish a connection once a session is timed out, felt like a few minutes yesterday. The link itself is fast and stable once up, just the connection phase seems to take long, is anyone else seeing this?
Things have slowed down this afternoon. Anyone else, known issue?

I was just going to ask him if can I come play at his house, I will bring my own toys![]()
hehe, i'll have you know only 3 years back my line was so useless it couldn't even sync at 1mbps
have been on fixed wireless ever since
but all the telkom vans in my neighborhood last year raised suspicion first and then some hope, from not even 1mbps (when 10mbps was already available) straight to 40mbps
first time in a LONG while my queued downloads cleared themselves out, i now need to think about new things to download, seems like a first world kind of problem![]()
Hi there NarrowBandFtw, what area and what type of area are you in?
