My torrents are also extremely slow. From maxing out the line to 10 - 20 KB/s max.

EDIT: Seems to be better now.

Are you constantly experiencing this, or only during specific times in the day?

I usually play from 20:00 - 22:00. Even on Sunday during the day I struggled. Btw, no other devices accessing the internet at that time.

Hi

Anybody else having issues with their ADSL? Centurion area. Mine just died. The router reports it is connected but there is no data comming through.

If one of the Afripeeps can have a look as well, it will be appreciated. Ticket number XMN-494-54776.

Thanks.

ETA: Seems to be working again now. Will keep on monitoring.

If you want to boot your AF DSL out forever - try downloading a nvidia driver tonight...and the support wait que is 30 minutes if you are prepared to phone a JHB number from CPT and wait.

cpt-net1.ip.adsl.co.za 86% packet loss - just so FUBAR...

Hey guys, over the last couple of hours we experienced an issue on one of the pieces of equipment that deals with certain connections on our traffic management system. This caused certain clients to experience low throughput or non existent connectivity both on Mobile, Fibre and DSL. Our network Team were quick to pick it up and the issue was resolved about an hour ago. If you are still having trouble connecting, a device reboot will create a new connection on the system and you should be good to go. Drop me a PM if you're still having trouble. Apologies for any inconvenience that this might have caused. :)

In the past few days my line stats changed quite a bit for some reason.
The router still shows current speeds as 700 Kbps up and 7000 Kbps down as before, but the max speed now shows at 1100 Kbps up and over 18000 Kbps down.
My question, why do I still only get a current speed of 7 mb if the max speed is so high? I'm suppose to be on a 8 Mb line.

26.9Kb/s to nvidia.com on capped DSL...just to download a driver is still taking more than 3 hours. There is no reason for AH to throttle my specific account either as I don't even get near the CAP I purchase monthly.

I have decided to remove the recommendation of this ISP from our company website.

I'll need to check, your line could either be a on a 7Mbps profile at the moment, or there could be an issue on the line that is affecting the sync itself.

Could you PM me your line number and I'll check what's going on.

We definitely do not throttle our Capped accounts. There was an issue last night that would have caused some intermittent throughput on our DSL Client's connections.

How are things looking this morning?
