Afrihost Mobile Data Deletes Rapidly

For the past 2 years I have been buying MTN 1GB data bundles via my FNB app @ R160 & it lasts me an entire month. Last month I came across the Afrihost Mobile Two package of 2GB @ R99 & signed up because it was obviously better than my FNB pricing.

I got a pro rata portion which I was ok with. This month on the 1st November 2017 I received the full 2GB bundle.

Today (9/11/2017) I have only 800mb left. That is 1.2GB gone in 8 days ?????

My usage has not changed at all. It is used for my secondary phone
I have unlimited wifi both at home & at work - so the Afrihost data is seldom used
On my primary phone I have a 1GB Vodacom data bundle & it still has 600mb left & I use this phone more than the Afrihost one.
Has anyone else encountered similar issues with Afrihost mobile data ?
 
Have you checked your data usage in your phones settings? You can get it to check from the first of the month to the latest date.
It might have been phone or app updates.

All updates are set to wifi only

In the last 8 days nothing has been done on this phone that has not been done on the old MTN sim. Especially to warrant a 1.2GB depletion.

You didn't answer his question. Data usage reporting (with android anyway) is quite good. I recommend checking that as well.

That's definitely not good to hear! :(
