Since Sunday I'm getting quite a lot of packet loss in Honeydew. Vodacom works fine though. Anyone else having the same problem?

Ordered online. Paid. They delivered 2 days later. Even arrived before they were scheduled to. Sim works first time. What a pleasure.

I'm being redirected to the "capped" page yet when I log into client zone I am told I have 8+GB data available.

Anybody else experience the same?

Got the same last night at about 11:45. Sent AfriGuy a PM, now holding thumbs it's resolved when I get home.

Afriguy, I changed my 3+4 from one sim to another (cancelled and reapplied) I was billed R197 but you guys topped-up both sims - any way you guys can take back the 7GB ? Don't want to use something I never paid for..

Hi AfriGuy,

I used to have the 5gb 3g deal, then cancelled. Now I wish to sign up for 250mb @ R29, but I can't find any mention at all on any of the emails I received from Afrihost of what the cell number is. From what I can see on the signup page, you can't use your existing sim without knowing the number...

Advice would be appreciated :)

Awesome - I think that's as perfect as it could possibly be :)

Were not seeing any general issues in this regard. What is your coverage normally like?

I just received my new LTE SIM from Afrihost, plugged it in and was overcome with 'PURE JOY' that it worked flawlessly the first time. I am impressed with the level of service I received as well... Keeping me up to date with SMS's and eMails, even on the weekend. Ordering was painless, waiting a minimal time-period was painless and their choice of courier was painless... KUDOS!!! All I did to request LTE was post a comment on their FaceBook page!
I AM GLAD I MADE THE MOVE TO AFRIHOST!

Nice to read posts like this - it really makes my day!

Glad you're having such a great experience from start to (let's not say finish) :)

Awesomeness :)

:) How to boost your mifi 3g signal if you are only getting Edge indoors and the shops are closed and your Afrihost Business ADSL has been on the frits for 5 weeks :

http://postimg.org/image/rx6j3bfql/

IP67 Enclosure with a Afrihost Mifi device inside, hangin on a unused Wifi grid, gives me full 5 bar signal strength and about 500KB/s download speeds, where I normally only get edge.

removing the grid feed and centering the mifi would probably give even better results ;)

Nice tips :)

What is the coverage like on the Gautrain North/South line, in particular between the Sandton and Centurion stations?

We do generally get pretty good coverage in main business centres - but not sure whether the Gautrain has it's own specific coverage (like the Airport)

Recently the Afrihost iPhone app keeps crashing, not sure if it's an iPhone 5S issue... I can't view my account or topup..

Have you downloaded the latest version of the App for iOS 7?

It's normally excellent. In fact it works well for 15 minutes or so and then suddenly pages won't load properly or images won't load and then a minute later everything will work fine again. So it's not a show stopper just something that suddenly started happening on Sunday. Hopefully it will go away and just work normally again because otherwise speeds are excellent.

If it persists, we should probably send it through to MTN's coverage team. Maybe there are issues with the tower (s) in your area and your are bouncing in between receivers - that's a totally wild guess by the way, very little research involved there.

PM me if you feel like this is getting to be an issue :(

With the current double data promotion, you could get 1GB for R58 when you sign up for the 500MB package
