Hi AfriGuy/AfriMan

How do I go about activating LTE on my sim? I want to put it in my iPhone 5 and use LTE, but I don't think it is activated?

Does your SIM have an LTE logo on it?
If so, drop me a PM and I'll run the provision for you :)
 
can I ask why does one need faster :D^
 
Very happy client here!!

ordered APN for my girlfriends sim card , this morning was activated 2 hours later!

More speed is always better, I'm sure we'll have LTE up and running for you ASAP.
I guess someone will be spending a lot more time at the mall ;)

I have a normal sim. Can you please advise on the procedure and cost if I want to replace it with an LTE enabled sim.

Heya!

If there is an LTE logo on the SIM we can have it provisioned to LTE for you :)
Drop me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
 
Just a reminder to all, after updating your iOS check your apn settings as these are normally reset by the update

Important this, thanks for reminding us!
I also see on iOS devices that there is a specific APN for tethering/ mobile hotspots - don't forget to add our APN in there too :)

I'm starting to get extremely frustrated..3 days to activate LTE is absolutely crazy! :mad:

Can you not put through the application again?..

Are you sure about this? Isn't tethering a MTN function and the APN should remain 'mymtn'? I will try changing it to Afrihost because the mymtn one never works. :(

Just chatted to AfriMan about this, looks like we've had to re-submit. I think something went wrong on the MTN process, he'll confirm once it's been provisioned though. Promise!
