I have been using afrihost/mtn for some time now and everything was fine at the beginning everything was working good, good speeds etc. But from last year around November it has been getting worse at night around 7 it will slow down to 20-30 kbps and only let up and 11-midnight.
So from my side I filled in the mtn-afrihost coverage complain form thingy.But mtn never got back to me but afrihost did... after A while I got so fed with mtn not coming back to me I called them self and finally found a guy that will help me we spoke and after A hour or so when he got my details he said he will email me.
On the 2014/12/04 he email me with the following details on the tower:
From then I left it alone to see what happens but it has gotten worse and worse it has gotten to the point that the last week it goes so slow the modems in my house would drop connection or go down to 5kbps.(my signal is fine and its more then one modem)
I have been really patience about this but this has gotten to the point that I can't work nor play or using my internet for anything. I would really like for afrihost to step and find out what mtn is going to do or have plans for this tower.I am paying afrihost every month and for sure as hell they can find out what is happening . The case number is in the email qoute.
At this rate I am gonna have to move to somebody else its just getting worse and worse afrhost could really step up and ask mtn what the plans are for this area. I am very displease at how bad it has gotten
