Hi.

You do not need to enable anything beforehand; you should be able to make international calls.
 
So I just tried to call +33 1 30 67 60 74 and it just goes "boop boop boop" after a short while

Also tried +1 (844) 222-4340 which worked this time around
 
@Afrigirl I've got all this free airtime with my new Airmobile sim card. When will be able to use this airtime to buy data on Airmobile?

I am planning on porting both of my retired parents from MTN to Afrihost as their MTN contracts have run out, and had the contract cancelled. MTN sim cards should be on pay-as-you-go by the start of next month.

My question is, can I add their numbers (both were RICA'd in my mother's name) to my Afrihost account? Or would they need a separate account? I would like to have our numbers in one place, just makes it easier for me to help them with airtime and data top-ups.

Appreciate the feedback.

Yes, for both you can use the same Rica contact on one account.

Sorry for the maybe simple follow-up question...but I am second-guessing your reply now. ;)

Both the sim's I want to port have been RICA'd in my mother's name.

If I go into the Afrihost app and add/port a new number to my account, can I then choose my own RICA details? Or should I RICA the numbers in her name with her details?

I will be taking over costs related to their phones (data, airtime, etc) and they will just be using the phones, so I assume it is best to RICA the numbers to my own name?

Just want to make sure that I do this correctly.

You can choose any RICA contact of your choice as long as the details match the uploaded documents.
