Well done Afrihost, this is awesome. I am sitting in Ballito, been using Neotel 1mb uncapped and getting terrible speeds. I unpacked, connected and tested my mifi tonight, over 6mb down and 2mb up. Will definitely be cancelling my Neotel

check the colour of the signal strength bars on the device. Red in no go. All like orange/reddish indicates a weak signal and in APN it says no signal but still connects and gives me a reasonable performance. Move around to find the better spots. Some get very good results at certain area points like their Spar.

This by the PC and orange light is up. Other parts of the house i get 12Mbps down and just over 2Mbps up. Bloody faster than our 10Mbps adsl line lol.

Quick question:

So this data that we're all currently using, is this part of next month's data? (I think it was mentioned that it wasn't and that we'd get a "new" 5GB beginning next month, but I just want to make 100% sure before I kill 5GB today and tomorrow :D )
