Let's hope that solves the issue..
The part that concerns me is that on their website they state that "Our network is currently performing close to normal levels, and clients should be enjoying a much better internet experience."
If this is near normal, then I am concerned.
I do not know what normal is as I was only with AH for a couple of days and then the cables broke.

Also waited more than 2 weeks to receive mine. It's to be delivered tomorrow. They told me, they have a big backlog because of the Cell C migration to LTE? Not sure what the story is there.

Well I'm supposed to get the router before 11 today. So far nothing yet. But still an hour and half to go. My normal LTE data is finished, so I really hope it arrives on time. lol.

They might not tower lock, but it is called "Fixed LTE" for a reason. It is meant to be used in a fixed location.

Well that explain why the speeds are so pathetic for a lot of people.
Technically the tower lock is to avoid congestion on the towers and SUPPOSED to only allow a certain amount of users on it. Both Rain and Telkom can't handle the amount of users they have.
So you need to chose. If you are happy with the speeds of Telkom and Rain. Go for it!!
I am looking for an alternative to my ADSL. Not an alternative to mobile data. This is something we can only dream about in SA.
They do tower lock. I understand you cant use it on the go, but surely from one one fixed location to another should not be a problem.

Received my router as promised before 11. RICA process was simple and quick.
this does not look good:
Uploads are better than my ADSL, but downloads are slower.
This is on WiFi.
