:( That's pretty damn awful.

I'm checking on your line now.

Interesting...

I came here to investigate why my VoIP is so awful. Major packet losses.

Looking at the previous few posts and noting where users are experiencing troubles, it is interesting that I'm:
a) near PE
b) speedtest.net chooses Worcester as one of the closest servers.

Running iperf reports horrendous packet loss and packets coming in the wrong order.

I will be trying a Webafrica account later today.

Please help

Would you mind posting those results? It will help a lot to see where the packet loss and latency is originating from.

Seams to be back to normal again, but was terrible the entire morning.

P.S Please don't forget about that PM RE my line, see what you can get out of Telkom

It looks like there was an issue in your area this morning, this doesn't seem to be related to your ongoing issue with sync, I should have an update later today.

Hi

Can anyone help me? my line speed is down to 1792kb/s since last week.

my line speed is keep going down and never can be normal (2520kb/s) after my line was fixed last month, any solution?

They might need to adjust your ASSIA DSM profile, Could you maybe post some router/line stats ?

@ Devo1:

What OS is running the device on which these trace routes have been done?

Do you know what the default MTU settings are and have you done any optimisation to determine the best setting?

Next, are these results via Wi-Fi or with the device plugged directly into the ADSL router/device?

Hi Sorry for the late reply was out on the road

Pc with Win7 32 bit
Results: WIFI

No idea about MTU and no optimisation (Dont know this stuff so well) Not in IT att all

Thanks for the help
