You can review our shaping policies here.

But with your recent network upgrade, shaping was supposed to be reduced, I don't recall you ever having shaping on business accounts, business seems to have no benefits. This reminds me of my days as a mweb client, as user increase so do the policies become more restrictive. I find it extremely frustrating that for 2 months I was asked to do tests when you were actually shaping me, and actually wasting my time.

I believe your tests were done before the shaping changes were implemented.
As explained above, shaping Business accounts is done as a last resort.

So Telkom reduces prices, and Afrihost imposes more restrictions on Business accounts and keeps the prices the same, must say this is just great. Surely as a client we should be made aware of these changes, and not have them hidden at the bottom of a web site in the text size Most would find difficult to read? So you basically changed the product I am buying and do not inform me?

We do our best to be transparent as possible.

I must say, im very disappointed Afrihost has not passed any price reductions on to the consumer.

This is not transparent, and existing clients should have been notified of these changes. So essentially I am getting what a few months ago was a uncapped product. Being transparent would be to post a notice on your web site, but then you know it would risk losing customers as many would probably not notice the changes. This is really under handed.

The product is still Uncapped and is still aimed at Businesses.

It is nothing to do with the ping!
24/7 i have full speed on the speedtests and downloads. All webpages opens instantly.
Issue with the video from webpages
24/7

Use another ISP then, why pull your hair out?

Sorry AH but I agree with PurSpyk here.

Affected users should have been made aware of these "changes", even if they are not network based.

The difference in wording between these two quotes are so important to a customer.

Outdated Policy
Business Uncapped packages are not subject to throttling, shaping or monthly thresholds

Updated Policy
Business Uncapped packages are not generally shaped, but can be subject to shaping, should the network experience high levels of demand.

Also on the updated policy it states
Shaping will only be applied to Business Uncapped accounts in cases of extreme network congestion.

Further down the next paragraph it states
Business Uncapped packages are not generally shaped, but can be subject to shaping, should the network experience high levels of demand.

Which one is it AH?

I know this might seem nitpicky but consistency is what I'm looking for in AH, we as customers are always consistent with our payments. :)

Business will be shaped as a last resort.
