Loads of disconnects for me at the moment. Youtube and Netflix buffering. AG can you check on my line possibly? I know not managed but you, but anything you might pick up?

Seeing loads of drops from your router.
Any noise on the voice line?

Seems like a little noise on it, so but nothing major. I have logged a fault, and a technician they will dispatch. So will have to hear what they say.
 
Internet Solutions just sent this out, coincidence that Afrihost international went down the same time?

We are in no way affiliated or use IS within our network.
Please post some tests here so I can get a better idea of what's going on.

Some feedback

Telkom tech' let me know they actually only fixed the DSLAM last time - but kept our line on it - and its a very old DSLAM.

So they've promised to transfer our line to a new DSLAM, but did not give an exact date to fix it.

Hopefully that will resolve the 1000ms plus hops on the exchange end. So we live in hope :)

Hopefully they'll replace the ESR, keep us posted!
 
We'll see if what they eventually do makes a permanent difference - hope so. Maybe we can get closer to the speed we pay for again. But what we have been having is ridiculous for 2016 standards.

At least he was frank about their problem...I appreciated that.
