Afrihost New Network Feedback - Part 2

I can also confirm issues with youtube....just stops working for no reason.
 
YouTube running at 256kB/s on a 4mbps line :(. Can't use even 720p because of buffering issues.
 
Internet light red !

Switched modem/router on (after waking up), internet light red, changed to Vox as ISP, light green immediately. Something up at Afrihost, then.
 
Checked Afrihost & Axxess connections in last 10 minutes - neither will sync !
Vox & Gridhost working fine.

Why only 2 of us having problems with Afrihost atm ?
All probs. since last night (slow streaming of others) seem to be in PE region, therefore Southern Region issue ? No-one complaining in CPT, though.

@AfriGuy - can you have this looked into & sorted out this morning ; I'm personally relying on having Afrihost connection to get some work done.

Had the same, switched to Crystal Web trial account and light is green, switch to afrihost and it's red, it's back now, would like to know what happened though.

internet is still slow and not the same since yesterdays problems

speeds has gone down the crapper all of a sudden

While you're welcome to query results, I really think you should start backing up your posts with some test results.
I really can't help if all of your posts look like this:

youtube is not working just showing errors

yep speeds has been down the crapper the last 2-3 weeks

browsing is very slow this side

we always use google dns as we had too much trouble with the one from ah
this is a sporadic problem the one moment everything is fine and the next moment it slows down and becomes sluggish

it is a capped account and there should be no shaping this morning was fine but now the internet is jerky again and slow

it is not only downloads that have erratic speeds even after midnight but browsing is a serious problem with pages loading half way and must be refreshed a couple of times
ii sure looks like shaping or maybe a bandwidth problem

internet is very jerky and unresponsive today

even browsing is down the crapper you have to refresh 2-3 times to get to a page

speeds are up and down even after 12pm makes me think back to the similar problems from last year

must agree things has not been good the last 2 weeks

speeds has taken a serious dive and are crappy

browsing and latency is bad tonight

speeds and browsing are down the crapper again this evening with linux updates almost not working
 
On a note around Google services/ YouTube - I've seen a few posts for this.
We need to compile standard data for our Network team to check, so if you are having issues with YouTube/ Google specifically, please confirm the following:

Suburb/ region
Account type
Video URL
Resolution being watched
DNS servers being used

afriguy like we said before we are not here to send tests and test your equipment we are paying for a service and we want that service we are paying for
when the service don't work we will post and it is your job to sort it out and fix the problems
i can also quote your posts from last year when your Internet service was up to crap and all the posts from you saying there is nothing wrong and in the meantime you knew there was problems
so please don't take everybody as a fool and do your job properly and stop denying when you have problems on your network
