Afrihost New Network Feedback - Part 2

YouTube works fine using other ISPs. I go back to connect to Afrihost, and it doesn't work. And yes, other streaming services have the same issue.

Since your reply additional people have commented to say they have the same issue with Afrihost (in addition to others from previous pages).

This has been going on for the last couple of weeks intermittently with several people I know and in this thread which you fail to recognize as an issue given the repeated pertinent feedback describing the same thing.

Given that if I use an account with other ISPs it works, I'm afraid I have no choice but to move service.

Yip. Same here, almost clockwork after 6 to around 10pm. My issue that was supposedly escalated to their NOC team a few weeks ago (its waaaaay back here on this thread somewhere) has had ZERO feedback. I even mentioned it here to @Afriguy that my ticket had actually disappeared...

Yeah nothing has happened since.... poor showing Afrihost. This will now be the 2nd time I'm burned by you denying you have issues on your network and being proven wrong by numerous customers.
 
How to get a refund:

Upgrade your package (if you paid full price at the beg of the month)
Your money will be refunded except R1.

We get it, you're not happy. Going on and on is not going to help the situation.

I'd really like this forum to go back to the way it was, the reps were being treated respectfully and our feedback was analyzed and responded to in a civilized manner. Please leave if you're not happy. That's how it's supposed to be. Try another ISP that works for you. CW is an option, try it.

Yes, I also experience issues (everyone does!) but if it's not being resolved for you then like what I did with my previous ISP if I was not happy, so I moved on. Simple.

I wasn't even concerned with paying full price this month, but Afrihost refunded me R540 after the R1 promo was announced (R599 300GB account). I only activated an AH account this month though after my CW data was stolen.

And how is your experience so far aside from the Youtube complaint?

It's not about the refund. It's putting it out there for everybody to see - every day, every hour - telling them about Afihost - it's history of poor services and promises, etc. You copy sir?
This thing is not going away. How many times do you want to hit a dog with a stick before biting back. Hopefully this is just the beginning.
An email full of promises started it and that person must now stop hiding behind his pathetic rep and explain.
 
Seems one cannot go with one ISP alone. A backup account is needed. I cancelled my TI account as R10 for 20GB was a bit much. Will have to shop around for a new backup account.
 
The people complaining wont leave, the prices are just too good.

Speak for yourself, my cancellation was submitted days ago. No price is worth this BS. Can't even stream Youtube in 720p on a 4mb line in the evenings.

The fact that the reps have done a vanishing act is just the cherry on the cake. :crylaugh:

Nope, sorry. Not going anywhere. If I was a prospective client I'd want to hear these kind of complaints. Time for the AfriFans to stop trying to stifle negative feedback.

You folks can really stop asking us to leave now, because it's not going to happen.
