Odd... When you say "not working" do you mean slow, or not connecting at all?
Not connecting at all. Tested on 3 devices now and with different dns servers.
P2P traffic is completely dead for the past 2 days , what the hell is going on?
the same answer as every time no problem in the SouthI'll ask our Critical Care Team to follow-up with you ASAP.

Good day Thorsten
I hope you are well
I've checked with the network team and there was no reported increase in latency on the network in the South. There was also no management applied to the network during the reported times that could attribute to the increase observed.
I'll have the network team look deeper and perform tests to try and replicate your results. Kindly provide me with test performed now for comparison.
I hope this information serves you well, have a great day and please let me know if I can help with anything else![]()

This i going on for 3 month only afrihost account having problem in the evening change to telkom ore webafrica full line speedOur Team will investigate, but I do want to point out that because some Clients reported latency doesn't mean that every Client in the South experienced latency. That's why these tests results are some important, so that we can figure why the latency happened, and then the next step is to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Same here but I learnt years ago that Afrihost never acknowledge problems in the South.
I just switch to using Telkom, which works at full line speed, until afrihost fixes the non existent problem.
I have already had one heart attack and cant afford the stress of dealing with the help desk.
When it works it works well but I always keep at least three ISP's current to ensure reliability.
The basic internet principle of no single point of failure is not actually valid in South Africa.

We're definitely looking into this from our side. Until we know more and can replicate the issues reported here, it's very hard to give further feedback. We're waiting for the network team to confirm if they've been able to replicate![]()
