As I said though it's not all the time. My tracerts are automated and not every one shows the latency I posted before.

Thanks for confirming.
Latency is bang on there, so I can only guess there are some comms issues between the routers.

We're checking it out.

Definitely shouldn't have been an issue for that long, seen some good results before this evening.
