Why do you need the business account if it's 1Mbs only? Don't you think it would make more sense if you bought a 2Mbs Uncapped Premium account, at the same price?

Even if you got only 50% of the bandwidth during the day, when things are quiet you'd get 2Mbs. So over the course of the month you would average a higher bandwidth throughput.

You saying 110GB/pm isnt good for a 1Meg?

Are there any alternatives to sitting on the phone waiting for Telkom just to tell them that my line is syncing at 75% of its supposed speed?

I tried googling and couldn't find an email address.

I tried logging a fault but it seems that feature is always conveniently down/under maintenance (10/10 times I try, it is down. I.e. it has never worked for me).

Don't suppose Afrihost could fiddle around with something on their side?

Dude, You're assigning PUBLIC IPs to your DHCP clients! Make these changes:

Good news for the long weekend. Everything is cool. :)

My Afrihost 20Mbps VDSL has just died, started a few hours ago.

Still connected with extremely slow throughput, but unusable.

Can't even run speedtest.

Edit : Managed to get speedtest to show some figures.
DL = 0.02Mbps. That is about 1000 times less than what it usually is, and is quite unusable.

Line stats look fine, so the problem is in Afrihost.

What is going on ?

Not sure if you saw my post around this earlier? Those settings aren't right. Take a read through my post here http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...k-Feedback?p=17293553&viewfull=1#post17293553

Our team can check line stats from our end :)
Drop me a PM with your number and we can run through some checks.
