Maybe it's cause I'm using up all the bandwidths :p ... My torrents are running well this evening, had to throttle them so I could browse the inter webs

Great to hear things are running smoothly :)
Where abouts are you based?

yes, only on Afrihost and only from 19:00 until about 22:00, the rst of the day the same torrent will download without any issues. So why is this time related? Strange how I cant log onto the 2 utorrent links you posted.

Im out in JHB South, 8Mb business uncapped, Smooth sailing all the way.

Although.. one thing that does not work these days... Is the news server news.afrihost.co.za i think it stopped working around the same time the new network cam along, but I dont use it enough for it to bother me. I get the error "Cannot connect to server news.afrihost.co.za:119 [501 user Name|pass Password]"

did the settings for this change at some point? or is it just not working "By Design"

Downloaded 2.6GB in 46 minutes on a 10Mbps line, Oracle db 12c, full speed.
Earlier today got a torrent at 1.1MB/s, so torrents fixed themselves up and have stayed fixed.

I have a Linksys Modem that works like an absolute charm, well worth its weight in gold, but that got hit by lightning a short while back, (my lightning protector got hit by lightning, so i took it out and before i could replace it i got hit a second time)

any way.. back on topic, i had my Netgear Telkom supplied when my line went in connected up until i could get a new linksys and i had intermittent issues like this with torrents and only at certain time of the day, the netgear itself did not seem to handle Upnp Port mapping very well, I disabled that and enabled a static port forward and it worked much better.

just random thoughts ...

I think we've already confirmed you experience the issue with us - there's some good posts here and to the links I sent.
Are you unable to browse to the utorrent.com forums?

I'm out for the night, let's carry on testing tomorrow.

No, the utorrent forum links don't work

The critical care team is incredibly slow. At this point it's just regular care. It's like they're limited to one message a day.

Alright guys this is not on. My connections seems to just die, then I need to reboot, it works, then dies again. Rinse and repeat.

If this happens this weekend, my cancelation notice will be sent.

I've been experience the exact same issue.

I thought it was just me that suffered from continuous disconnecting. I haven't had disconnects the last 2 days, but the connection hasn't been nearly as good as WA, Vox and CappedADSL. Usually the disconnects started around 4pm and continued for hours.

I've submitted cancellation and will be moving to Crystal Web as things stand. Doesn't help saving R451 a month on data if it's not reliable.

I'm really not sure what to advise further, you've chatted to our Critical Care team multiple times and the company reps have been more than willing to assist with this query.

I can only recommend to provide more data for our team to review.

I advise PurSpyk!! to immediately downgrade his account to the "premium" uncapped option as I suspect the performance to be the same then, so might aswell save some money, or even better yet, speak to DJ.
