I really do think that 1440p is a push for a 10Mbps line - it nearly saturates a 10Mbps line, so everything needs to be playing ball in order to stream at that quality.
I agree, but 1080p should be easily attainable

I'll agree with you there.
Ok not sure if something changed but I can stream perfectly now...
there is a slight lead on 1440p (little to no buffering) and can watch 1080p with no hassles

Browsing is feeling sluggish today, also loading imgur links via the AlienBlue client for reddit on my iPad is very slow. I believe they might be doing something with the traffic.
However this doesn't occur on other ISP's. Not quite sure how to demonstrate that![]()
I think if you can give us a few steps to do exactly what you are doing, we can tests against your experience.
Hey Guys
We're about to run some tests on the network. This is not designed to affect any realtime services, the tests are intended for P2P shaping.
Should start in the next few minutes.
could be coincidently though, I just paused it to buffer in case it was server load on the source.Well it clobbered streaming
My running stream dropped from a steady 250KBs to 30KBs

Hhhmm, shouldn't have done.
Any tests that I can check?
I hope your p2p shaping isn't going to affect the business uncapped?Hey Guys

Please don't stuff it up - one of the few things that actually work for me during peak periods.
P2p luckily not borked. This is only testing, so P2P across the board may be affected.
If you're seeing issues please switch back to your regular account.

But please read post 3471.
Same issues during peak times.
But this is hardly peak time.
The latency looks pretty terrible there. I can't recall 100%, but didn't we discuss exchange/ DSLAM issues in your area via PM?
