Odd that both are showing similar results, if a backup ISP account shows the same the common point of failure/ degradation will be your line. Will you be able to test?

Unfortunately not tonight. Leaving home in about 15 minutes.
Working late tomorrow night.
So will try testing on Thursday.
I will PM you the results so as not to have to explain my problem again.

I agree that there is an issue.

I just don't get how it is manifesting itself - doesn't seem to be in line with how congestion works.

And the fact that the person I spoke to from Telkom can't even tell me how it is possible also raises question marks.

And of course the fact that nothing is happening in sorting out my issue is also peeving me off.

P2P running up and down at the moment.
But rest seems fine.

Left the Mac at the office this afternoon. So not worried about any App updates or work related things.

I don't know the details of the tests they ran yesterday but P2P was involved so it could explain. Hopefully they've figured out what they needed to, so things will go back to normal :)

Just a heads up that we're about to run some tests. Should not affect any realtime or interactive services :)
 
are you guys still running that p2p shaping tests ?

my torrent was still running this morning which is strange because my torrents usually finishes overnight

We just started testing again - so it could be that the tests ran overnight as well.

Would be great if you stay connected with Afrigreen so we can see if this impacts you in any way. Will really help us to identify any potential problems.
