Afrihost print screen required

Just for the record not my experience - mailed them last week Thursday and received an automated ticket number within a few minutes (Also pm'd Gian on the forum).

Having had no further response from either their accounts department or Gian by today I called and was told that their records do not show anything outstanding. However to date I have not had any formal response from the accounts department to let me know that the ticket had been cleared and the mistake rectified or any response from Gian which is somewhat disappointing.

That sucks mikef. I've had excellent service from them so far. The account problem I had was sorted out very quickly and I asked them a hosting question and they replied within minutes. This was all last week.
 
well it took them over a week to get my account activated.but i never called them and it wasnt too urgent..... im sure the helpdesk is a little swamped at the mo
 
This was finally resolved.

As advised in this thread I sent them the original email and this helped resolve the billing issue. Thanks MikeF.

Also it appears they did not get any of my previous emails from my web mail or my afrihost account. And that is the reason for the long resolution period.

Some final feedback - I did get feedback from Gian shortly after my previous post in which he informed me that the incorrect renewal charge was due to a system error on their side. I never received any formal reply to my email to accounts however I suspect they considered the telephone conversation as final resolution of the problem. However other than this issue I have had excellent service from AfriHost in all my other dealings with them and their telephonic support has consistently been excellent.
