Oh yeah forgot about football returning. I've just run tests on dstv etc online and all seems to be streaming without buffering(KZN North Coast).

What are you getting 480p on? Have you tested other ones online?

I haven't tested others as yet but will tonight and hopefully it'll be fine.

We made some changes again.

Dropped Cogent completely. They are not viable if WACS is down. Dropped Openserve in JHB and CPT and are using Liquid Telecoms exclusively. Now things are looking much better in terms of latency and speed.

Can we keep it, my latency to the Hunt Showdown server in Frankfurt is down 24ms, it's the lowest I've ever seen it.

Playing on Germany servers also lowest I’ve seen 168-170ms in Durban pretty good

This would fit in line with my earlier hypothesis that sticking with Liquid likely meant Afrihost traffic moved to Equiano (as per this story), given that Equiano had been claiming reduced latency.

It comes at a cost though. Higher latency to EU West like London and the US and even higher to South America.

@Afrigirl @AfriNatic Any idea on a fix for afrihost in cape town? My ping to EU in games is around 230-250ms. Let me know if I need to do anything that will help. I can't play any games right now meh.
