Any known issues with Octotel? Have 4 green on ONT. Restarted but DHCP Client not finding server?
Apologies had to screenshot from my phone.

Thanks. What was the issue ?Should be sorted now.
Thanks. What was the issue ?
Hi.@Afrigirl any news on whether FF prices are going to change? I see my FF line has gone from 40/10 to 40/30 (assume download is being capped by AH). Will the 60/30 start from 1 Feb?
Yeah I saw it on Monday, it jumped up twice for a couple of hours and eventually stayed there. So I'm sure you noticed the latency returned.
Liquid Telecoms lost their AMS-IX peering which has been restored and traffic shifted back.
With Liquid Telecoms we have a couple of main routes. EASSy to DE-CIX Marseille and Frankfurt and an AMS-IX link to DE-CIX Marseille. This last leg was not working and Liquid used the Equiano to Lisbon to serve EU traffic. The problem with this is no one peers at Lisbon so they need to use transit from a tier 1 which is Cogent to reach Europe which is expensive.
It has the best latency but expensive. Currently the general policy is always favour IX over transit so once the AMS-IX link restored traffic shifted back to that route.
Hi Afrigirl@AfriNatic @Afrigirl
Please check your DMs enquiry regarding my internet being down since 6am this morning, thanks
Thanks Afrigirl, all sortedHi Afrigirl
Please check DM, 12 hours and counting no internet
Thanks
Any updates on this?Hi
I'm still looking into this. It's either a transit provider issue or fno issue. TCP is quite fussy with speeds if the scaling is not right on high latency connections and if there is any form of loss.

So the fibre speed upgrade in December "at no additional cost to you!" is actually a delayed cost to me 3 months later. That's just deceitful advertising.
