Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

What are the prices for all the different fibre packages as from 1 March? And I assume no cost to downgrade?
Hi.
Clients affected by any price or speed increase will receive an email from us during the course of this week.

I just cancelled with Afrihost
I don’t want more speed…I want to pay less money!

Afrihost is committed to affordable fibre packages at the lowest prices. However, we cannot guarantee these prices for a set amount of time as we rely on the Fibre Network Providers with the speeds and pricing they provide to us ISPs.

So im guessing next year theyll force upgrade us again and make us pay more

yeah we know its not the isp. These fnos are abusing their powers.

Hey @Afrigirl - do you know when the new prices will be loaded onto the Afrihost site? I'd like to check whether we should downgrade given the increases :)

Afrigirl not sure what everyone is talking about in thread. Could you please perhaps provide a list of FNOs who are changing prices/speeds?

I’m with Openserve and haven’t received notice of anything.

Thanks

Metrofibre

50/50 clients will move to 75/75 Mbps
Old price: R797.00
New price: R827.00

75/75 Mbps
Old price: R797.00
New price: R827.00

400/400 Mbps
Old price: R997.00
New price: R1 047.00

The above packages are the only ones affected by speed or price increases for Metrofibre. We have started sending out emails to the affected clients.

Octotel
Frogfoot and Frogfoot Air.
Emails are being sent out to the affected clients.

With Openserve, only the 50/25 Mbps package will be affected by a price increase. It is a change with Afrihost pricing only; the FNO has not implemented any changes, and clients should have received an email confirming the change.
