Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

So ive accepted that you cant see your daily usage anymore because for some reason Vumatel doesn't want to give Afrihost the numbers anymore but when I go onto the portal today and it says I've used 880gig for the month so far and will end on 1.27TB when I only average 300gigs a month at the most is crazy its def wrong is anyone else having this problem?

Do you know what the source Ip's are in resource manager? battle.net uses Akamai now and we have plenty of those so should be decent. The international transit is pretty quiet also so no issues there.

Not Valorant but getting packet loss to the Path of Exile servers in Jhb from Cpt, so could be going through the same node? also higher than normal latency at 40+. usualy its 20ms or so.

Mine seems to be fine now, was just packet loss, probably due to peak hours

we are currently experiencing issues with data usage, once resolved this CZ should display correctly (currently being worked on).

FYI.

As of 20th August 2024 at around midnight all EASSy traffic failed. An update has been provided on the cause and ETA on repair.

Multiple Eassy Subsea Core links in the East Africa region are currently down, affecting the reported circuit that transits via Eassy and resulting in your link being down.

The incident was caused by a subsea shunt fault.

ETR for this issue is 25th August.

Getting heavy packet loss on Openserve since around 16:30 today, anybody else?

@Afrigirl Seeing latency rise often during peak hours. Also seems to be some packet loss on an Afrihost node.

This is to a Blizzard server in EU.
On Vumatel Western Cape.
