Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Been trying to update Discord via Afrihost/FF and it wont move. Tried to do a direct download from Discord and it wont even start the download. When i switch to Mobile data for a hotspot. Download goes through. Any ideas ?

If anyone can test would appreciate.

I have called numerous times and had 3 WhatsApp agents but since the 1st no one has gone back to me.

Spoke to retentions. Credit passed just waiting for the package to be changed but the credit will be passed each month don't worry about the amount that is shown on the invoice.

This discord issue was fine this morning when i tested. Now in the last 20 minutes it has returned.
Switched to warp and it ran full speed. So either afrihost is throttling or fno still has issues.

Why would Afrihost throttle Discord?? It is more trouble and costs way too much to implement throttling

Well i dont know. Mobile data hotspot, discord downloads full speed. Switch back to fibre. It doesn't download now, yet it was earlier. I only used Discord as an example. There are others.

Is your connection timing out when trying to open some sites?
It might be MTU related, what is the MTU setting in your router set to? Might be worth trying to lower it by 20 to see if it helps.

Loading extremely slow. Just turned off Cloudflare warp, and Mybroadband struggled to load. This only started now at 2pm+-.
MTU is 1500

Mine too. MyBB. Slow when cloudwarp is off.

Going to revert my MTU back to 1500, but it was a good suggestion.
