Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Hi there @AfriNatic @Afrigirl
I logged a ticket earlier this morning for a blinking red LOS light on my vuma ONT. Your support team advised that there is a Vuma outage in the area. However there is nothing in your network status for my area. Could you please look into this and advise?

Now is fine, but I have no idea when it will happen again, it is not the first time and I don't think that it will be the last. I am seriously considering to change my ISP. This type of problem is unacceptable and is fatal.

Outage is resolved. We have a subscriber mapping backlog that will takea few minutes to clear but should be sorted now.

Apologies for the issues experienced.

Frogfoot technicians are at the datacentre to physically reboot the juniper switches. Client impact is likely to change from intermittent to hard down. More updates to follow.

The Frogfoot juniper switch reboots have begun. Clients will be hard down for up to 2 hours and connectivity will be restored in stages. More updates to follow.

Unfortunately, the reboots did not resolve the issue. Frogfoot maintenance teams are en-route to the data centre with replacement hardware. No ETR is currently available.
