Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Hi it seems that my fibre is slower than usual. i did a reboot and then it was fast now it slow again

And here we go again. No internet, and redirected to this page (and I already updated my payment details the last time this happened).

Look, I will, yet again, chalk this one up to "teething problems". However, if these issues continue, then at some point I'm going to have to admit to myself that I made a mistake leaving my previous ISP.
Can we just try to deliver a functional service without a hiccup every other day, please?

Question: why can’t I receive Afrihost email in Sydney on my eSIM or roaming?

Please note that international roaming is not enabled for Airmobile (MVNO) at this time. We are working on adding this feature as soon as possible.

Please note that international roaming is not enabled for Airmobile (MVNO) at this time. We are working on adding this feature as soon as possible.
I don’t have your sim, I have Vodacom but even connected to WiFi it doesn’t work.

Torrents are going fine but can't surf the web, DNS issues even using Google DNS.

Edit, super weird, could SSH to my router, could not access it HTTP. Had to reboot my PC. :unsure:

And yet again. This is becoming very problematic for me now. If you guys are unable to solve this issue, please just let me know and I can find another Vumatel ISP or go back to my previous one. No hard feelings. But we cannot continue like this. Please let me know. Thanks.

26 hours later and evidently Afrihost's response is to not respond. Does anyone know how Afrihost won MyBB ISP of the Year Award a billion times?! I am honestly flabbergasted. At least with Cool Ideas, even though they experienced technical issues which affected the connection quality, they were extremely responsive.

Needless to say I am very disappointed. Can anyone recommend a Fibre ISP (I'm on Vuma Reach) that actually delivers service?

The problem is Vumatel's lack of co-operation, not Afrihost's lack of trying.

Know this very well from previous experience with another FNO.

Some FNO's just stonewall or ignore the ISP requests until they decide they are ready to move forward with it.

And there should be others standing in for them while they are on their well deserved break. As a company, being non-responsive is one tried and tested way of promoting customer dissatisfaction.
