Octotel has discontinued the 75 Mbps line. The 55mbps is only available for new installation.

I'll check thanks. Why is 55mbps only available to new installations? Surely if the package exists (and is advertised on your website), any customer should have access to it?

probably like the Openserve 30/30, only for new customers - not existing.

It is a promotional package from Octotel and it is not available for package changes

They only offer that to new customers because they’re likely planning to discontinue that package soon, forcing those customers to upgrade to a higher speed.

Hi, anything happening in the Mitchell's Plain area regarding outages? Connection has been mega choppy for the last 3 days and today has felt the worse. Sometimes I don't even have Whatsapp messages coming through and it's really disrupting everyone in the house

Noticed that my latency has increased from 15ms to 30ms from about 10.15am in East London (Vumatel)

Anyone else have the same issue?

Weirdly, even Vodacom mobile data went down. It's back now though.
