Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Just got the email about my line changing from 100/100 to 150/150 for R50 more. Assume the client zone is going to show the wrong speeds then? Currently shows me as on a 50/50, and no option for 100/100. Is the Old 100/100 the New 150/150 and 100 falling away? So no R997 option anymore on Openserve?

The new line speeds will take effect on the 1st of April.

Unfortunately, not. Openserve announced speed and price increases and we had to revise our pricing as well.
 
I am currently on 100/50. I note that my upload speed already increased to 75 but not the download yet.

My downloads are still the normal speed though. I received a call from Openserve this morning and they indicated the upgrade will only happen on the 1st of April so I do not know what this is.

my speed is back to what it should be... i guess someone noticed our comments and did a quick fix.

if i dial up to my cybersmart pppoe then i get 320/150

[edit] scratch that, i am still getting 320/150 on AH
 
My router just reconnected and my 50/25 that was doubled up during the promo to 100/50 is now connecting at 75/50.

My line just dropped. All lights on ONT is fine. Anyone having issues?

Edit: Back online after 15 mins. I was almost getting ready to go into the office...

Hi

Is this on Octotel?

There are a few nodes down. Gape Gate is restored but at risk while techs attend to a fibre break.
 
So workers digging up the garden to put in a new water mains broke the fibre line. #fml

Logged a call with the WhatsApp team, but there's no ticket showing in my Clientzone?

Also, they didn't have FrogFoot's support phone number so that I could talk to them directly...
