Hi @Afrigirl. I have a 500/200 mbps line but i have to log calls and do the same routine every single week as my line speed keeps dropping to 100mbps. I keep having to perform the same requests week in and week out. Can someone just sort this out and give me what i pay for diligently every month?

Hi.
Sounds like a cable-related issue. Please drop me a PM with your email address so I can look.

Sent you a PM. Highly unlikely a cable related issue as the support staff do something and it comes right and then goes back down again a day or 2 later.

Hi @Afrigirl

I just cancelled with my ISP on MFN and it will only be effective end of July. When do you suggest I sign up with Afrihost to ensure I don't have any downtime?

Hi.
You may sign up a week before the cancellation effective date with your current ISP.

Anything dodgy in Eastern Cape? PE, Jbay area?
Download very sluggish, ping fairly high :(

Edit: Seems to be back to normal.

I see its available in my area, but not in my Aunts, I'm looking to get her sorted on cheapish fiber as she is still on ADSL this would be ideal for her but is only in my area but we both have vumatel?

Theres different types of vuma network vuma reach, vuma areal, vuma core and idk what nonsense. So maybe recheck I dont think the deals stays the same in this case

Yeah, I figured as much but we have the same to the wall infra as what she does, was just wondering why I had a "vuma promo" option lol
