We are investigating the issues we are experiencing with our Frogfoot clients in the Western and Eastern Cape.Hey - FF, yes, in PE.
I haven't had working connectivity for days now, and there's been no information anywhere up until just now? This morning it was reported that FrogFoot in the Garden Route is borked - why would you expect Port Gqeberha to be exempted?
Cool, thanks - good luck, I hope you can figure it out soon. FNO issues outside of your control, I totally get it, but 3 days in, it's hard as a consumer to be quite as phlegmatic about it as I'd like...We are investigating the issues we are experiencing with our Frogfoot clients in the Western and Eastern Cape.

@Afrigirl - can you please help?Hey @Afrigirl , @AfriGuy , @AfriNatic ,
I'm unable to make a successful browsing session to https://showmax.com. When I switch to LTE on same device it works fine.
I ran a wireshark trace, and I see a RST packet every time after the initial connect and hello:

Any ideas? Only happens on my fiber connection.
Your 2 replies seems a bit contradictory. First you said the FNO set the terms, and now you saying Afrihost won't release the line?Afrihost is renting the line from MetroFibre, so somebody they don't deal with asks them to release the line. You think they going to do it? They can't have anybody else requesting the release of a line besides the person that is renting it. Which is Afrihost.
Every ISP has issues, why you acting like Afrihost is the only ISP with issues. They were the only ISP that never had downtime or big issues when the cables went down.
Please also read Afrihosts Terms and Conditions, 5.3 to be exact. You signed the agreement, you can't complain, you accepted the terms: https://www.afrihost.com/terms-and-conditions/fibre

Also, it was Metrofibre that asked them to release the line, so I hope to God that is someone that Afrihost deals with. Lol.
Can you please specify where I said Afrihost is the only ISP with issues?
I agree with you, I signed those terms, but that is for a working product/service. I've been paying them for 2 months now for a service I can't use, and I am not allowed to move to someone else who are able to provide me with the service. How is that not holding one ransom?
@Afrigirl any luck with releasing the line?
The line has been released. Thanks @Afrigirl
Hey - FF, yes, in PE.
Hi.Any updates regarding FF issue, last update was at 10am
Edit: Nevermind just saw your DM from 28mins ago
Yes, you may use it as long as it has a WAN port. Have you tested?Strange question but can one use a Tenda AC1200 Router for fiber, I remember couple years ago only approved routers work, but. Not sure if it's still the case

how's things looking with the call of duty update tonight @AfriNatic @Afrigirl
haha been stuck for an hour trying to downloadExpecting quite a lot of traffic. It's already looking quite high.
