Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Anybody else get slow download speeds on App Store (iPhone)?

Internet has been shocking the past week in Durban, what is happening? It's not just me so no need to do self-side analysis. Is it routing etc? When will this be sorted? I can barely load youtube and stream a show while prices increased.

Do you hit Afrihost's apple cache when browsing to: http://test.edge.apple/debug/ ?
Yea I do, wonder if there is an issue with PE to it

Internet has become unusable over the past hour, based in CPT.

FNO: Frogfoot

Line: 240/240Mbps

Baseline ping has been 90-120ms

Extensive packet loss, traceroute + speed test attached below.

(it took 5 minutes just to attach these photos, lol)

Hi Team Red @AfriNatic @Afrigirl
If it helps, we have multiple reports as well, and have reported the fault to Frogfoot with reference :#1577962

If you guys want to push your side too

Getting 80MB down on a 1GB link.

Speed significantly slower than it was. Also getting this:

Strange, about half an hour ago I started getting 40% packet loss to EU servers. Now no issue.

We are still seeing a massive storm inbound on the NNI.

For me personally, speed is back to line rate following another spike of loss at 17:45.

Not resolved on my end, speed tests maxxing out at 30Mbps.
Ping still at ±100ms.

edit: 15/04 08h20AM SAST

Issues seem to have clearer up. Speed tests are now back to normal and the ping has become a more amenable ±60ms.

Far from perfect but workable.

Yes looks like it was just resolved.
