Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Thank you, here is the feedback from Openserve.


We have picked up an issue after a thorough test and logged a Webforce ref 20946397. The upstream direction is running errors on the uplink and there are also xpl errors on the metro MDA. Techs on site testing. no ETR as yet. For Waverley GPON MSAN 01
 
I just want to give a shoutout to @Afrigirl
We've had quite a long turnaround time for our fibre relocation where multiple support tickets had been made and a lot of phone calls back and worth between Frogfoot and Afrihost where it was a he said she said scenario.

But thanks to Afrigirl the process was way quicker and receiving feedback the whole time was super appreciated, I honestly think we would've only had our fibre reinstated next month if it she did not assist that well.

Something happened 15-20mins ago. All services on my Playstation are completely dead. Can download updates fine but cannot login to any servers. Cape Town in Mitchell's Plain if it helps any

Twitter, YT and Insta working fine for me on mobile at least. Was wondering if it's PSN related again but I don't see anyone complaining about it online yet? Unsure tbh
 
We lost all transit JHB <> London and JHB <> Lisbon. All traffic in the northern and eastern regions are now via EASSy. Looks like a bunch of NLD failures between JHB <> CPT.

Content providers feedning NAP JHB peering like Netflix and Akamai is very degraded currently.
