Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

The last few issues and outages on Afrihost's Fibre Services, OpenServe is never affected, but every other last mile provider is affected. Related to the new BNG's?

As I remember Afrihost tried to cutover OpenServe Fibre clients to it a few times and failed.

Design differences. I'd suspect L2 to the other ISPs while OpenServe does their bit via their IPC design and rock solid networking.
Likely, the difference means how the core at the ISP is setup handles it differently too.
 
@Afrigirl @AfriGuy @Frogfoot Fibre i am experiencing major lag during online gaming on COD.
PS5 is connected via cable so no wifi. Tested with 2 routers, same problem. Resetting ONT does nothing.
Running test directly from router shows speed is fine.

I don't have a PC. Could run it from phone but not sure if the results will be dependable? Or I can see what options there's on the router
 
It is extremely bad. Lagging/rubber banding all over the place
