Interestingly, after you mentioned it I tried it on my phone, and the Colocation center is listed as CPT. How on earth does that work?

My PC and my phone are both on my home network, one wired one WiFi.

I just checked the debug logs from the phone, got the IP address for the endpoint it was using, saved it into the .conf file for the PC and reconnected.. still JHB.

The endpoint IP doesn't matter, your ISP is routing those packets to the wrong place.
 
Just tested on the udemy.com address on the phone. Warp app on phone still says CPT, but Udemy confirms it's JNB. I have no idea anymore.

Tested Warp+ on the PC, same result. AH must be routing to JHB then, hopefully @AfriMan can get them to take a look.
 
Afrihost is still using Telkom transit for upload. There is increased latency 10.189.30.13 and that is likely because of all Telkom's down and uplink traffic still going via that route and it's congested. This could affect download speed on Afrihost even if the downlink traffic goes via Seacom if it's TCP traffic as the return packets go via Telkom. During peak time the latency increases more and there is some minor packetloss on the uplink on 10.189.30.13 so that would tank single threaded performance more and if you have packloss on your cable too from your cable provider good bye speed.

I'm seeing the eassy link ip as 10.189.30.18
